Heat Soaked didn't pull the way I wanted too

Went To Mpact,
did the Roll Race, Felt Heat the car was Heat Soak.
only did 3 pulls but the car wasn't pulling like normal, trapping 129mph on 1/2mile Humid and 93 degree weather,
Felt like it was Non M mode.
So i let my friend just drive her maybe i wasn't driving it hard, but same thing. He Said he felt lag and wasn't pulling like how we want too.

as soon as the weather cooled down, The car was Back to normal power.

now I'm Thinking about what Mo said, adding Meth and some Custom Intake may help beat this heat.

I think the car was punishing you for putting those tires on it. Just my $.02.

How heavy are those wheels? I've destroyed other M5's because owners put heavy wheels on them before.

Otherwise, I've honestly never felt a degradation in power/performance due to high DA. Even when I was running in the Mojave Desert at 120 degrees or in the extremely humid South during the summer where the humidity was nearly 100% and the dew point was very high. Also, what tune are you running? That could be the culprit as well.

It was pretty hot last summer at MPact too and I was still able to trap 155mph on that course. I don't know if it was more humid this summer though as I wasn't able to make it this year.

Also what is your exhaust setup? It sounds damn good.

Although that M4 doing the burn out at 0:40s sounds better than anything I've ever heard, at least that's what Urban Legend told me.

Sounds like something is wrong with your car for sure. I ran at the wannago fast event and never experienced anything like that. Also my friend ran at the Georgia wannagofast run after run and no problems. He and i have the MSR intake which helps the temp

Yeah I think the MSR design is the only design that may make a real difference in intake temps and flow. I personally don't believe the Dinan intake makes a difference, but that's just my opinion.

Nice. I need to get someone to drive my car so I drive behind it and listen to it from behind. You might think that I am crazy, but I don't feel like even my straightpiped exhaust is loud enough. I want an exhaust that scares the bejeezus out of common motorists on the road so that they get the hell out of the way or to keep them from tailgating me. Unfortunately the F10 M5 just doesn't have the volume that I ultimately want, although still very loud for most people. This is why I am going back to NA for my next car.

Saturday was a tough day to run for sure! DA was roughly 3,688 so all engines got to work harder. I know the temp said mostly 80's, but it was very hot on the track, and heat soak was pretty bad.

It was nice to run against you!

I don't know the timing maps of the M5's but my stock tune was pulling 8 degrees of timing when IAT's hit 110. I'm sure most of you guys were experiencing something similar. Damn heat.

Very impressed with how the M's run.

I was trapping 143 at MPact with a TTFS custom tune. Probably had more, but I started getting drivetrain Mal due to worn plugs.
