i have been working in engineering offices for a long time.

there are a certain "kind" of people that walk around smelling like the bottom of a dumpster.

they tend to be from overseas and they do not believe in deodorant.....

overall, everyone else smells more fresh than Summer's Eve.....

I've worked in well over 3 countries, and god knows how many engineering offices....they all smell of death! But it gets worse in the summer months!
It's like a hot day in East Mumbai!

Pigs, while many people perceive them to be dirty, are actually very clean animals... Cleaner than dogs.

oh, i'm living life just fine.

i sit here, expedite orders, crush people over the phone and then travel to their shop if they give me a hard time.

most people that work in an engineering office make 6 figures......

3-day weekends every week too.....

not necessarily.

unless they work 70 hours a week and they work for a huge city, then yeah, there's a chance.

some cops get paid $30/hr for working side jobs, which is more than they get paid hourly working their normal job...

some cops work side jobs, others work overtime...

it depends, but i would say a small percentage of cops make 6-figs....

i would say most of the young engineers have at least a dab of common sense...

if you're an engineer and you're in your 40's, you are probably detatched from most things that are happening around you....

i work with a handfull of young engineers that watch sports, like cars and possess some kind of personality.

When I was in school, all the grad students would descend on my normal computer lab ~4pm and the air would immediately thicken with the smell of unwashed bodies. I'm sure there are some clean guys out there, but just in my experience, the Indian engineers I dealt with in school smelled awful. I don't know if it's a cultural thing or not, but jesus christ, we have deodorant here and it's cheap; there's no excuse.
