has any one ever blew turbos?

I'm just speculating, here are some facts on my m6:

-blowing white smoke.
-oil also coming out of the exhaust.
-oil in driverside intake
-white smoke also coming out of v-band clamps that connect rear turbo to downpipe(driverside)
-car still makes boost on both banks.

mods: short intake, catless downipes, jb4 w/BCM.

So this being a factory installed turbo has me stumped, I'm sure the oil supply and drain are fully engineered as I've see these car's nearing 100k miles running great. However, based on putting together turbo cars in the past, these symptoms mimic a blown turbo seal/bearing. just looking for feedback and/or anyone that has experienced this.

thanks.

Absolutely. Running out of the efficiency range of the turbo puts undue stress and the seals will give out...

Yes.
I have a client that smoked his stock turbo's after being tuned / downpipes etc..
He would track the car once a month and drove the car hard all the time.
Seals were toast and car would feel like loosing power after passing 5k
Sent turbo's for rebuild / upgrade and all is well now plus making better power with upgrade turbos with Pure Turbo

Since cyl 6 is towards the front....do a quick compression test.

Or a full leakdown if you want.

How long did you crank it for? If you have ZERO compression car will run very rough and throw all sorts of misfire codes.
