I think the closeness of the camera to the leather shows the texture. It looks smooth otherwise.......

On our new Porsche we have Black and Guards Red seats and we got the seats treated with Perma Plate which is likely a scam but we will also take the precaution of not wearing blue jeans in that car.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll check out a few options. I usually don't wear blue jeans but if the leather is susceptible to staining I'd rather take care of it now rather than after the fact......
