Porsche is mainly rear wheel drive.... They offer all wheel drive as an option just like BMW. Not sure what you meant.

On the lower end models....
I was thinking about the 911 turbo and panamera.
I would only consider the 911 GT2 with RWD.

We can swap M5s. That'll take care of your wheel spin issue.

I'm honesty afraid to race from a stop because I think my M5 CP would just spin it's tires for a few seconds before finally taking off. Any advice?

I think anytime a post advocates "DSC Off" then a disclaimer should automatically be attached stating "this is a really bad idea 95% of the time". In time most of us are able to harness the Beast's power in all TC modes, but almost all new owners can get in trouble fast in DSC Off.

Porsche GT2 is not AWD. GT2 RS doesn't have AWD either.

Turbo-yes, Turbo S-yes.

GT2 is often called the "widowmaker" because it doesn't have AWD.

Comfort mode is best (*from my experience) at the track for launching. Weight transfer seems to help rears w grip.

Also, tire pressures!!!! When at the track, I drop mine to 25 psi.

Also, Vandit I'll be at Cars N Coffee on Sat AM with another M5 here in Dallas. I'm in MCB and he has the Silverstone w/ black wheels.

Please be really careful with DSC off. I have waited through 12 months of practice with the beast to now reach a state were I have DSC off most of the time on dry days.

One additional small help that I use: I have programmed my radio station button no. 8 to show the tire pressure/temperature indication. That gives me quick access to this vital information. If your tires are at 100+ F you have a much better chance at getting of the line quick than when they are cold and hard.

Of course if you want to completely make a fool out of yourself, just floor the gas in 1st with DSC off for a brief burnout to warm up your tires and cover all other vehicles in smoke.

There is a button for it on the left of the shift knob the first one is MDM and that's just a press but if you press it for a few seconds it will be DSC Completely off and you don't want that because it is very dangerous on narrow roads with other vehicles around and MDM is dangerous enough with 600 horse power -
