Tricky as some of them can have the forged 343M's instead of the 601M cast alloy wheels and anyone can put a Comp badge on the back.
Take the chassis number and check that with any BMW dealer to be sure.

The wheels as well as the exhaust tips are black.

The stance of that one looks like a CP M. Exact same as mine, lowered just enough to be noticeable.

The wheels are not automatically black, they can be opted as 601 or 343 in silver/black. And dark chrome tips can be added to a non-comp model as well. IMHO, there’s no obvious visual element that distinguishes both model variants.
Only the VIN will reveal its true identity!

I meant the wheels are going to be differnet and the exhaust tips will be black. 99% of the time no one really changes the chrome tips to black, but yeah check the vin

Indeed care should be taken when looking for a genuine Competition and SCD-1983 correctly points out there is no clue on the outside.
Lowered by a centimetre suspension with stiffer roll bars, quicker steering rack, different diff ratio, slightly different exhaust baffles internally, together with possible DME alterations are some of the changes.
Not having a standard F10 M will of course mean dearer service charges for certain items on these limited versions.
