Just got my Space Gray M5
I just picked it up about a week ago. Still taking it easy for the most part. The temps have been so low, haven't been able to get enough heat in the tires. Can't wait to get past 1200 miles.

Dude you're gonna have to wait till May or June. I was doing 65 on the highway the other day, it was 45 degrees....I downshifted into 3rd in acceleration and the tires broke loose. This thing is surely a torque monster.

Congrats on the buy. Post some photos when you can. What interior combo / options did you choose?
I used to live in NJ for most of the year and completely understand how much the winter limits the M. You can't really have fun until the season is over.. all you can do in the meanwhile is break the car in well (defiantly worth doing so and doing it per spec), and drive carefully. Throw some winter tires on before its too late. The stock Michelin Pilot Super Sport's just do not work in that kind of weather. Grip is extremely limited when temps are below 35 or so. Don't even attempt riding on snow with the PSS's.. you'll either get stuck or scared straight into parking the car at a safe location or very carefully limping home.. been there and done that. Again Congrats. Watch out for the side effect of ownership.. one week permanent grin. I am currently waiting in the "12 week lead" line for my next (4th) M5. It never gets easy, only harder. Don't forget to post photos!

I will try to post some pictures. A c63 was pushing me today. I had to tell him I only had 300 miles on the car and he can tell everyone he beat me. In my M3, I am much more inclined to drive like a hooligan. The M5 has made me actually grow up. Wait till spring time and we will see. It is a little scary, M car with a lot of torque and cold tires. I enjoy my E90 a lot more in this weather, even the 1M is a handful.

I wish it was a lie but people that know me know these cars exist in my collection. I don't mind proving it to you guys. After that I expect an apology and some respect. My E90 is interlagos blue/bamboo leather, my 1m is alpine white/black, my M coupe is black sapphire/beige leather. my TT RS is suzuka grey/black. None of these cars have sunroofs. All are 6 speed manuals. Only my M5 is DCT, I am getting lazy in my old age. I am thinking of getting a 128i for my daughter as one of the last NA inline 6 BMW's but don't have one yet. Otherwise everything I posted is complete BS. I feel sorry for you guys that only have one M car or maybe two lol.

Only 3, and 2 of them with the same engine or do you have the previous model? Cool cars - The Lime Rock edition is quite nice. I can post pictures as well. I can't fit all my cars in one garage. I have garage at home and my office. Even though I have these M's, I am more of a Porsche guy. I will work of getting some pictures for you.
