FS: 21" HRE S101 - Custom Finish
** Final Price Drop $6,500** I've thought I've had these sold a couple times now but buyers have backed out. I'm motivated to get these gone and lowering the price for the final time. If these wheels don't sell in the next two weeks I'll be putting them back on my car and listing my Vorstieners. For Sale: - 21 inch HRE S101 - F10 M5 fitment - Recently custom re-finished with new barrels all the way around - Michelin PSS - 265/30-21 front (less than 2k miles on them) - 305/25-21 rears (2/3rd life left) - TPMS sensors included - Every inch of the face, window and outer lips are flawless. There is one nick on the inner barrel (see picture) - Ceramic Pro Coated Asking price $8,000. Buyer pays shipping. Wheels will be thoroughly detailed before packaging. We all know that the HRE s101's are as good as it gets and the ridiculous price tag they carry, so let's skip right to the best part about these wheels... the finish The finish on these wheels are honest to god the best I've ever seen. The work was done by one of the best shops in country, Need Powedercoating: https://www.instagram.com/needpowdercoating/?hl=en If you scroll through their IG or FB page you will eventually see the post about this set of HREs The faces of the centers are diamond cut, the windows of the centers are hand brushed and the outer barrels/lips are matte polished/ball polished. The centers are powder coated a single stage smoked tint and the lips are clear coated. All four inner barrels were replaced and powder coated in two stage dark gunmetal. Photos don't do this finish enough justice so make sure to click the dropbox link below to check out videos that show the hologram like effect the diamond cut finish has. This $4,500 re-finish job was done early this summer by the previous owner @ed4. I purchased these wheels from @ed4 in early June from the f/s thread posted below: http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthr...&highlight=hre The wheels arrived to me in early June flawless besides the one inner barrel nick. I replaced the 285/30-21 fronts with brand new 265/30-21 fronts, had the car aligned and have put well under 2k miles on the set. The wheels remain in the same flawless condition presently. So why in the world would I sell these beauties?!? I could never justify owning such an expensive set of wheels. I purchased them in June because I was in a major crunch. On June 9th I hosted the Crown Rally in my city (Cedar Rapids) and just weeks before the rally my rear driver side Vorsteiner was damaged beyond repair by a mechanic. The Vorsteiner was national on back-order so I couldn't get a replacement. I certainly couldn't host a car rally with my freshly lowered M5 sitting on stock 19 inch wheels wrapped in snow tires so I did the reasonable thing and bought a new set of wheels. My replacement Vorsteiner just shipped so the HREs are now back on the market.
