Adding aftermarket parts for reliability

Hi, I just purchased an f10 2012 m5, with 15k miles on it, just changed its oil too.

Currently added parts are twin intercooler and dct oil pan from burger tuning, ngk spark plugs, and Bavarian ignition coils, a drop filter from Venturi, and charge pipes.

Considering the area I live, which have a high temperature and also wet humidity, I am just wondering whether adding a mishimoto oil cooler is something you would do, or is it an overkill purchase as I am not trying to get the car to squeeze all of its potential power ? I am just looking to take care of the engine, in the long run, as I will be putting a lot of miles on it.

Mostly I will be using the car daily, and maybe 5 times a year track days. Is it also save to tune it with the jb4? Also considering to replace the thermostat into this one https://www.ecstuning.com/b-hamburg-...37586885-90c~/

The main purpose here is to increase reliability and engine life, adding the jb4 is only an extra/bonus to increase horsepower, which I will not do if installing it will just add more strain to the engine. Does the jb4 also have capability to tune the new thermostat?

The mishimoto oil cooler is too new to know what the improvement is. That said I would expect the benefit to primarily be on track. Given your climate it may be useful on the freeway, too. Easiest way to tell is if your oil temps rise noticeably above 100C.
