Anyone with a son whos outgrown his clothes. Help

I'm going out on a limb with this one and I understand if no one is willing but my mother is recovering from a 5 bypass open heart/lung cancer dual surgery and things at home are very tough for her. She is a single mom with an 8 year old son my brother Hayden, she is fully disabled and is having a really tough time with making ends meet let alone getting him new clothes. I do what I can to help them out but I am in school and figured I'd give this a shot.

I am not looking for a pity party here but he is really embarrassed at school because all of the other kids have brand new everything and we all know how fast kids grow out of things, my mom just cant keep up and all she does is give for him. If there is anyone that has any boy clothes that they aren't going to use from a son that grew out of them I'd gladly pay the shipping for the stuff and whatever you needed for the stuff, I can send money if you need it. I think he is a size 52 and anything from shirts, shorts, shoes, whatever you have just PM me and hopefully we can set something up.

Thanks for whatever help you can give.

Would not mind helping here, however, what I think you might be up against here is most boys cloths at those ages are trashed when they finally grow out of them. I know with my son who is now 17 from age 5 or 6 to now there was not much left to his cloths, he was pretty hard on them and sit is. Are you sure he is a size 52 they seem very large for an 8 yrs old.

Here is something to consider, My family was always very good about donate anything that the kid did not wear any more or fit them. The two places we usually donate was to the kids school and goodwill. My kids school use to collect clothes and other similar things then arrange to get them to families in need in the school district. We live in an area which there are lots of people who are well off as well as a large group who barely making ends meet. Those school donation usually did very well and what was not used locally was then distributed elsewhere.

I would check with the school they may have a way to help the boy out.

my oldest son is only 5, so i can't help.

also, let's say you get 20-25 people to ship stuff to you and you are willing to pay for shipping.

you know you can buy some pretty decent new clothes on the rack at Target for what it would cost to pay for shipping of stuff....

and i'll go out on a limb, because i know people are wondering: your profile says N/A and you drive N/A. you also only have 96 posts.

most of your posts/threads are in "non-automotive" and "off-topic".

just sayin....

I updated it, I post where I post because I don't have an E90+ but like the forum and spend a lot of time in many car forums, some have crap off topic sections though.

Check out thrift stores such as Salvation Army etc. I take a lot of my donations there.

I would like to help but i have a 15 year old and he likes to wear his clothes until they're torn especially his basketball sneakers. I forgot how old I was before i started taking care of my stuff.
