Kelleners Sport Releases BMW F10 M5 Coilovers
BIMMERPOST NEWS Kelleners Sport Releases BMW F10 M5 Coilovers The F10 M5 just recently hit the European market and won't be released in the US until around September 2012, but as with most M cars, the aftermarket for new models from M seem to develop very quickly. Kelleners Sport has just announced its fully adjustable coilover suspension kit for the newly released BMW M5 (F10). The Kelleners F10 M5 coilovers feature separate and independently adjustable rebound and compression damping, allowing for tailored uses and preferences. The unique patented system with its two-stage valves allows a rebound damping adjustment (comfort) and a compression adjustment (driving dynamics) in the low-speed range while the high-speed range which controls the driving safety, is fixed. Advantages of the Kelleners Sport coilover (per Kellners): • Individually adjustable rebound- and compression technology • Individually height adjustable • Infinitely variable rebound damping adjustment • 14-way adjustable compression damping • Unique, individually working damping force adjustment • Made of high quality stainless steel • Compatible with the EDC • Approved by the German Technical Control Board (TÜV) • Part number: SUSM1012520 |

I also noticed this a few days ago on Kelleners website. Added it to my future mods list, especially with individual height adjustment. They also seem to be the same (blue) color as the brakes.
Does anyone know drawbacks or side-effects of these adjustments? And would they void car's warranty? |

I think it's pretty cool that they developed a full coil over that's apparently compatible with EDC.

This is interesting, we might have to double check how this full coilver still work with the EDC function of the car. Most coilovers on the E92 M3s do not work with the EDC and a module is required to turn the EDC error light off.

Factory suspension height is not adjustable, among other features listed above. The only reason I'd consider buying aftermarket springs is to lower the ride height, and the color fits nice with brake calipers. I still wonder about warranty being void and quality of these compared to stock under different driving conditions. |

A section of the Magnuson Moss warranty act specifically states that a Dealer must show that the offending part caused the issue to prove it is out of warranty, hence you cannot have a BMW dealer telling you they can't replace your fuel pump because you have aftermarket springs on the car. |
