In autumn the leaves whisper the sound of our past...

Hey all,

I went for a little road trip this past weekend up to Pennsylvannia to visit my sister. It was a great to get out of congested Washington DC area and stretch the M5's legs again. She hasn't seen triple digit speeds since I arrived to the DC area back in September. So I am definitely on cloud 9 right now, especially with the epic sound of my straightpipes behind me.

While up at my sisters place, we went for a crisp autumn drive in the M5 and I used the Ultimate Drive App to see where the good roads were around where she lived. Turns out, the App worked awesome and I used my M5's navigation to get us to the locations on the Ultimate Drive App. I brought my good camera with me and snapped a few shots while we were up there in the Pennsylvannia countryside. It's absolutely beautiful up there this time of year. It's so nice to see a real autumn again. When winter comes, I will go somewhere to shoot some nice shots with the winter snow in the background. Hope you enjoy!

The last picture is one that my sister took of me being an M5 paparazzi. LOL!

@Ftc120 When it's cold out you will notice that the M5 pulls harder. It's not a feeling.. it's the car actually putting out a higher amount of HP & TQ.

How did the tires feel at 40 degrees? Have you switched to winters yet?

I still drove pretty aggressively yesterday, although when frost sets in the ground playtime will be over. You have to respect the hp of the M5.
Will you be putting the Dunlaps on the OEM 20s?

The area seems familiar. Where exactly where you again in PA?

I was driving today, seems like similar route, and saw a black M5 parked in at some house. Sure it was not you Dave?

Awesome pics Dave....as usual.
Need to research that Ultimate Drive app. It sounds like it might be a good resource.

Nah, that wasn't me. You would have heard my M5 from a mile away, even while it's just sitting there parked in a driveway.

I'm guessing Montgomery County. It DOES look really familiar - my family is back there...so you really got me thinking about a road trip!

I don't know where Montgomery County is, but I was up in the Allentown/Bethlehem area. It's really nice up there on Saturday (60's), but it got SUPER cold on Sunday! (40's) Doh!

Knew I recognized those leaves! ABE area is 30 minutes maybe from where I'm talking. Plenty of family in Catasauqua. GREAT twisties too.

Thanks for the pics!
