Curious detail about LCI headlight?

Has anyone noticed this? Looks like a light border unlike any other BMW model?

+1 likely just a reflection.

Here's two close-up photos of the headlights from a more telling angle. Doesn't appear to be any special lighting there.

The best example would be the non LED 6er against the LED 6er.
in the LED 6er the headlight case is more fuller thanks to that strip of metal that runs under the headlights which adds more prominence to the front of the car.

The 7er features this too and so will the 5er with optional LED.
