I went from the F10 M5 to F85 X5M recently. I've been very pleased with the X5M. In many ways, I actually have more confidence driving the SUV. The launching is great. Rolling WOT isn't as strong as the M5.
Good to hear.

RS7 is AWD monster ... Can only sit two passengers in the back and is very pricey. Lots of mods available as well as tunes.

What's the take on RRS Supercharged , seems like there could be some good deals on them . I think the RR could be too big for me

Can't do the Mercedes thing as I can't get pass the looks, and the same for the RS7 which I almost did but that rear is terrible.

Leaning towards the new Panamera for quality and looks, and my RS solve my need for speed. Lost the desire driving 4K lbs cars really fast, and the HP wars are getting pretty old year over year. The new M5 will really have to wow me this go around with looks, and interior. Good luck on your choice.
Spot on

TBH, I was going for X6M but changed it to M4. X5/6 are big and heavy cars and after driving the M6 for 3 years I had no desire to sit on a car with that much height!
Drove the X6M but neither the 8 speed gearbox nor the handling (especially on curves) impressed me. Furthermore, it's not a nimble car at all... well, not supposed to be .... IMO, SUV is not a good match for "M badge"...

There are a handful of M5's around (not the limited edition PMS ones). Get one before they're gone.

Why mess with perfection?

I am confused and would like you guys to help me out here . Most of the deals for these cars have surprisingly not been that great even though it's the month of December .
Get a X6M

Be a little flirty, be big and gargantuan.

Feel "nichey" and different.

You get be in a spaceship and have the handle of a M3.

I'm sure you can have fun with the aftermarket add ons such as CF aero parts, exhausts and IND emblem changeouts.

It'll be that sweet middle of your Venn diagram.

V8+ motor, AWD, a higher vantage, supreme cool factor.

Ultimate Uniqueness.

Wow, you don't think it's nimble?

Well, seeing you coming from a coupe I can understand.

I respect position, but it hurts how you talking bad about her. lol.

It's a good car. Great chassis but the interior still doesn't look luxurious though. Hopefully GM can improve this area in future iterations.

I know that it's far away still but what do you guys think about the new Alfa Romeo Quadrofoglio? I personally love it although I know it's got some things are probably a bit inferior to the M3. I might get one in the future.

Also don't forget that Mercedes is still coming out with the 4 door version of the GT and it looks sexy as hell. If the next M5 don't float your boat and the new Panamera Turbo is too expensive then Mercedes might have the other best option.

I have the M5, Wife has the Range Rover Supercharged LWB. Love the RR. It's been a fantastic car, lots of great options, great ride, great power, no issues so far. We've been real happy with it.

I had a 2008 and a 2010 RRSSC bought new kept each for 2 years and loved them both. I chose them over the X5 and Cayenne at the time. When I was doing my search for what after my last M5 my fondness of my previous RR was remembered and knew the same SC engine but new improved chassis. I went test driving with the thought that my search was going to end but that was not the case. I was underwhelmed at the dash and interior looked cheap and just overall didn't like the feel. Maybe my M5 spoiled me lol but it didn't bring back the Memories of the two I liked soo much.

Okay guys narrowed down now to either X5M or M3 .. X5M $400 more payment wise but of course better equipped and more expensive . What would you guys pick coming out of an M5?

F80 M3

Don't get the X5M/X6M they can't even do stuff better than ur current M5. They are big heavy slow SUVs that really are just a waste of money.

Well I'm not talking bad about her at all lol. I'm just comparing a 4200 lb car with the lowest height in entire M lineup to a 5100 lb one and IMO the second one is not nimble. Don't get me wrong still I get X6M over any other SUV but my point was something else.

I've traded the M5 for an M4 comp pack.
The M5 had 65.000 miles. Great car, I loved every second driving that beast. But somehow I missed that agile and nimble coupe feeling.
I test drove Porsches, fantastic cars, but I couldn't do it. I guess I'm just a simple Bimmer fanboy.

I just turned my M5 lease in. I am looking into another M5 possibly a M4 convertible or , may be, a M3. How is the back room in M4. I seriously think I am another Bimmer fan boy too. Did not like anything else.
