So here is the utube of the warm startup and a picture. I will post a cold start tomorrow with a comparison from the one I did with the old exhaust this morning. To me, the old exhaust is higher pitched while this one has a lower note and a lot more throat and rumble while not being screamingly loud.

If you don't mind, can you share some more pics and drive by etc. clips?
I'm still debating between this and BMW/Akra (sound good but cost damn too much).
Thanks!

OK, I will take some more pics tomorrow from different angles. I will have to get my daughter to help me with the drive by stuff so that might not be as immediate. I am going to put the cold start up in the morning though.

Oh yeah, I thought I got the exhaust on sale, well not exactly, it cost me a Louis Vitton purse so add another two grand to the cost of this mod.

I am still evaluating that. There is a definite resonance peak in sound around 1800 rpm. I suspect this is what people refer to as drone. However, the bandwidth of the drone is narrow so it's easy to avoid. For example, on my road trips I don't notice it because of the combination of speed and gear serving to avoid the window where the sound is loudest.

I usually drive the car above 2000 rpm both around town and on the road.

On the way back from Port A yesterday I experimented running at different cruising speeds that would put me in the 1500-2000 rpm range and there just isn't any drone. There is an increase in volume passing through 1800 rpm on acceleration and deceleration but no drone when driving. It's louder than stock but not annoying, so definitely a good all round experience.

Now after reading about catted dps, I may have to add the AMS unless someone else has a better suggestion. They look like a real HP gain as well as improving the sound. I am not sure I need more sound but they look like a big gain in HP.

That's nice to hear the Dinan has no/little drone on the cruising range.

besides dp, you can also do midpipe as well ...

Yeah, then the exhaust is running around $7-8k and the other mods I am doing, I will be at $15k here really quick. If I do the catted dps while they are adding the intake and the FTronics, I will be at $13k including labor for all the stuff so far. What would mid pipes add that I don't get with the catted DPs?
