Why no upgraded headlights on the M5 / 5 series?

Any1 know why they haven't implemented the new headlights on the 5-ers and just on the 3s and 6s. I kinda find them more sexy than the halos since they've had them for a few years.

Looking to order the m5 in the fall, would of loved if they'd upgrade them

Upgraded in what way? The F10 5 series has the white LED angel eyes. Had it before the F30 came out. The 6 series has the option for full LED headlights. That option is not available on the F10 or F30.

I have a deposit down regardless but full LEDs would sure be nice!!

i was really talking about the angel eyes. I saw them on the 6 and they look sick, this pictures doesnt really do them justice and they look sexy as hell but seems like they are getting rid of the FULL CIRCLE angel lights

The 6 series car is tiered higher than the rest of the entire line. Don't expect anything to trickle down until costs are reduced. Have you looked at the cost of thse lights?

Agree with the first part of your statement, but I am not sure cost has much to do with it with regard to the M5. It is getting individual options; carbon ceramic brakes; likely B&O sound; so it is getting some pricey equipment the 6 is getting. I think the M5, as a $100k car should be privy to the breadth of BMW's options, there will be takers.

Yeah I guess put it on the option list. Just wonder if BMW s trying it out on the 6 to see how it goes.

Only logical time for the 5 Series to get new headlights is with the facelift (LCI) model
Next to get new headlights is the 7 Series with the F01 LCI later this year.
