Oh, that's not much of a difference.

Not unlike being careful when you have nice wheels
There are still dangers even when the car isn't lowered.

You are going very low to get the Cats to hit, in fact I would say you have flipped lol!

Why is that ? Are Eibach a better ride quality than H&R ?

I recently had my '13 lowered by using the Eibach springs. No regrets. In fact, I think it rides, handles and just drives better. The drop is subtle and doesn't give that "slammed" look. Get tons of compliments all the time on the stance.

Stock F80 M3/4 springs are actually Eibachs and H&R has a rake for the F10 M5. Not really my style for my M5.

KW HAS is the absolute best for the M5. Having the ability to adjust the height is a major plus for me....

The ride comfort is basically identical to stock so you shouldn't be worried about that

KW is one of the best kits, I put them on most of my cars that I modify

This .....

I'm on KW HAS and agree 100%; superior ride quality and adjustability are game changers IMO.

Relatively easy with a lift; adjustments are done by turning an adjustable spring perch clockwise or counterclockwise .

What do you guys suggest to lower? Is it equal, front and rear? I always like the look of the front being showered lightly more, but not sure if that's a wise idea.

I don't know much about cars, and even less about suspensions. By far, my weakest area. Even my best area of knowledge is pretty poor. Lol

This is a personal choice IMO; you want to be careful and test well to ensure there's no rubbing on the fronts or rears. Also the type of roads and driving conditions should be considered. Any funky driveways or parking lot entrances can be an issue if lowered so take that into account when lowering.

The good thing with the KW HAS is the fact that you can adjust accordingly. PM me your cell if you want and I can send you pictures of my car on the KW so you have a point of comparison.

Parking in reverse a must when lowered to avoid scraping the front especially if you have a front lip.

Good luck brother!
