"Drivetrain: Check Soon" error message
I'm getting a Drivetrain: Check Soon error. Has anyone else experienced this?
Took it to service and they cleared the code, but it returned less than a day later. One service advisor told me it is caused by low battery voltage due to too many short trips. My commute is not long (15 miles), but this doesn't ring true as I drove it a lot the day of the first error and also for many miles the day I picked it up from service and received the same error again. A second service advisor told me it was absolutely caused by my aftermarket exhaust I have Eisenmann Race rear mufflers only. If this were true, I would expect to see dozens of other board members with the error. I love it when service blames issues on anything aftermarket. "Sir, your engine blew up because of your aftermarket gas cap."

haven't had this happen yet. how many miles you have? i just got E-race, pretty ridiculous to blame engine issue on a few pipes though.

I read somewhere that there is an issue with Drivetrain and they are going to shortly be issue a updated version of the software to correct the problem, it stated the upload will take the best part of a day.
It has not yet been released so no point chasing the service department yet.... |

Ask them what the actual code was, or better yet buy a code reader for $80 and read it yourself; that's a great tool to have anyway. Assuming it was the same code both times, I can't imagine what it would have been that would lead the SA to first implicate the battery and then an aftermarket exhaust....
