5mm spacers
Hi there,
I put BBS wheels on my M5 and it seems like the back offset is not what I was expecting (ET is 35). Thinking of adding 5mm spacer but all of 5mm spacers on the market are missing the centre flange. I was recommended not putting items without the flange especially it's a very powerful car. Wouldn't feel comfortable with this solution anyway. Will try with proper 10mm spacers but believe they might by too wide for this wheel. Any suggestions ? Last edited by Zubek; 05-13-2015 at 01:34 PM.. |

Below 10mm there won't be a lip. See here for explanation on flat spacers:
http://www.turnermotorsport.com/t-wheel-spacers.aspx Generally a bad idea to use flat spacers since it means the bolt won't have as much of a contact area when tightened (i.e. it won't screw in as far). |
