yes It is !!! I guess one limiting factor is torque management by our ecu... I am having trouble witn my since when the ECU senses high torque it closes the throttle body and the appears to into limp mode and all of the sudden at 5,000 rpm it unload the power and it hammers the driveshaft....that occurs when you step on the pedal a full blast and it down shift into lets say 3 rd gear , but if you paddel down into 3rd and step on it, then it behaves normally....

my car is a 2013 model... I read somewhere that cp and newer model have an upgraded differential that manages torque better.... Does anybody knows?

Someone needs to find the weak spot of these rods and pistons lol, crazy if 870/900 is a "safe" number on stock motor lol.

I think the upgrade is purely software related.

That's what Sport Auto said, In CP models BMW have improved the differential and now it puts down the power better.

Happened Saturday Night low end pull
And kaboom at 50mph shattered rears,
Luckily i have all New parts gathered already for backup just in case happens 3rd time.


Yesterday was back up and running.

This Happened to me 2x already last year. Nothing New to me.
1st time was Woah! Oh sh*t !!!
What am i gng to do now!!!!

2nd time was I knew It! Then just laughed. Lol.

$tealer will cost all the rap charges close to $13k

U cn do everything for 1/2 the price Oem parts and have your indy do it for u.
