F10 M5 vs W213 E63S

Stock E63 S hangs really well. Just wait until renntech and others fine tune the software.

Wasn’t a clean start - the M5 walks the Merc as expected. What mods on the M5 other than a tune?

Yeah I am curious too.

Edit: Okay I watched the video one more time, after the race the owner was interviewed. He said only Akra exhaust and a home made tune, nothing else.

A tuned M5 from a roll should definitely done exactly that... tunes are out for the W213 E63S already and we should see 10 second cars trapping over 130 with just the shelf tune.

Here is one I posted in another thread-

Z06 (manual) vs the E63S

Here is that same M5 vs a 570S--- I find it interesting how strong it is with a "homemade" tune

what do you mean by that? there are plenty of people smart enough to fiddle with the cars parameters to tune it just as well as some big name brands.

What does a stock 570s trap, mid 130's?

That M5 has some juice in it to match up with the 570s... if you watch the video they use the terminology "homemade" so I just copied it here. I have no idea what is in the M5 based on the descriptors.

So thats what I meant.

he said exhaust and tune i assume downpipes and tune? tune alone get m5 to 700 no problem whats another 50hp if he has downpipes. im just confused about what you think is going on lol.

The F10 is king! Especially that 3rd to 4th shift. I am eager to see the new F90 M5 run. I collected lots of kills in my F10s throughout the years.

You assume? Like I said I dont know whats on the car but its keeping up with the 570S.

Do you know what the car factually had? I have had 2 F10 M5's with exhaust and tunes and they are no where near a 135 trap car. I speak from ownership. I dont care if the car had 750 hp or not, thats not what I questioned so Im not sure why you care. I know there are many 750 crank hp M5's here. What are they trapping?

Damn that "homemade" tune rocks!!!

Do you have an M5? Had one? No doubt they run strong from a roll...

It's possible with an aggressive flash on race gas and intake/downpipes/exhaust. Trapping in the 135mph range requires a little more like meth and boost in the 25psi range. Would need closer to 750 WHEEL hp to hit those traps.

750 CRANK hp M5 isn't going do much better than the 127-128 range.

It took 800+whp to crack 140+

BTW, here is the latest vid from my build. 60-130 is 5.3s, 100-200kph is 4.6s (VBOX verified)

Thanks. I knew it would take whp to get there vs crank. We always appreciate your perspective.

do you think im like insulting your intellegence or something? and ya i do have m5 if that was directed at me but tune is mild. i dont go to dragstrips so hearing 130mph trap speed to me doesnt mean much just means its fast. but since you know so much about it then maybe you can come to the conclusion that the m5 owner is a liar about 130 trap. Clearly it has ~750hp judging by how it performs and what mods he mentioned in an intervuew portion in one of the videos.

LOL no you are not insulting my intelligence, I know exactly what Im talking about. I never disagreed that the car has that much hp; its clearly obvious that its putting down the power to keep up with a Mac 570S.

Let me know when you find out what mods that M5 really has.... we all know that a tune, dp, and exhaust will not get you to that level of wheel hp.

well theres no way id know. only one that know is probably gustav that makes those videos. i dont think he ever said 750 wheel though? otherwise itd be a lot faster and would need more than dp and tune to get that power. plus hed do much better than he did against the cars he raced if the car had that much power at wheels.

Yeah, I do not believe just a tune and exhaust can get you 135 trap, unless it somehow also dropped 600kg in the process.
