What we sound like to non-car enthusiasts
This is too funny not to post here.
It also totally explains the look on some peoples faces when I say the words Twin Turbo sometimes. Hahaha! http://oppositelock.jalopnik.com/i-u...icl-1464717649

Read this, seems a little ridiculous to me because there are no "washing machine enthusiasts" in the same way there are car enthusiasts...also, cars have changed immensely in what they can do for a driver, while a washing machine...hasn't really. You put the clothes in, the soap, turn it on, that's it. It's an appliance only. It cannot be enjoyed. However, a car is a multi-faceted mechanical device that can be built for only one purpose, and that is to drive. Like any good M car.
But I can understand the point. Definitely a small circle of people I can speak about cars with in the way most of us would. |
