Car through a random drivetrain malfunction error today - what do I do

So the dreaded error came up that I have read about numerous times on here....

1) Stopped the car, turned off...Waiting five minutes
2) Turned the car back on (the error was still present) but didnt notice any real difference in performance
3) Error disappeared itself after about another 5 mins of driving

So the question is, do I wait until this happens again or should I book the car into BMW so give it a once over even though right now there appears to be nothing wrong??!

Cheers

I would book it in as soon as, you haven't had the car long.

Plus you have a history of when it exactly started and logged with bmw, should the need arise to complain further.
