Labor - HAS KIT & Swaybars
I just picked up the DINAN Coilover springs and sway bar. What should I expect in regards to labor hours and costs?
I called BMW Dealer and they quoted me 13.5 hours + 2.5 hours for alignment. That's over $2k for installation. I find that rather REDICULOUS. I've had kits installed on previous cars and it takes no more than a few hours. I know the rear is a pita on the F10

When I installed my coilovers (V3's) my shop billed me for 6 hrs which included damper install, corner balance and alignment.
Sways shouldn't add much more if anything.

I just called another shop and he quoted me 11 hours. I said BS and he said his tech never installed it before and he will use this time to learn and he will have to bill those book hours. I'm like you're f*cking crazy

my dealership in Raleigh charged me 11 hours for dinan sways, negative camber arms, and coil-overs. they charge a flat rate for alignments but 2k is insane...

Wow. It does not take more than 3hrs to change the springs out. Note, the rear if the shops don't know what they're doing would have to take the seats out. The correct way is remove the rear speakers to access the top bolts.
Do it yourself. http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=628336
