Akra evolution rattle

Question for those of you with the Akra exhaust:

I have noticed a faint "rattle" coming from the exhaust when I let off the throttle after accelerating. I don't remember hearing it before. It only seems to occurr after the car has been driven a while and is warm. To my ears it sounds like the valve doing something? I have an appt to have it looked at next week but was just curious if anyone here has experienced this and if so what did it turn out to be?

Not specific to the akra , sounds like you have a loose exhaust gasket . Best not to reuse them .

What's up Matt! I've been chasing a rattle with mine. Replaced the gaskets, and even replaced the forward section thinking that the rattle was in the resonator. The latter helped (may have been something there too) but it still exists.

Mine is heard when the the car is cool, going away when it heats up. Only noticeable at idle or when the DCT goes into neutral when slowing down at lights.

I'm going to take it into the dealer and have them troubleshoot. I'm guessing mine is not the exhaust but something else. Sounds like crap.

It's exhaust. I'm 100% sure on that.
You just need to go back to stock then it'll go away. And contact me. I'll buy your Akra system.

LOL! Give me a few months. At that time, if there is a pull-ahead I'll be in a M4 and my parts will be up for sale!

Sounds good! then please find and fix the rattle issue asap!
