Question F10 M5 European Delivery

Hey Folks! My first time on this site...be gentle. I supposedly have the first 2013 F10 M5 ordered from my dealership. I sent my saleman the posts from this site indicating that up until about June 28 the ED M5's were not out of dealer inventory and that some of you had purchased 2013 M5's at $1000 over ED dealer invoice. My salesman informs me today that my car (which I have had a production number for about a month now) is out of dealer inventory Is there paperwork I can ask to see that will confirm or deny his claim? I know I can ask for the ED invoice, but will that indicate if the car is from dealer allocation?

What was the price that you negotiated on when making your order? Do you have documentation to support the negotiated price?

All that I am allowed to say is that all M5's, ED or not, are coming out of dealer allocation now. Best you can do now is to get ED MSRP if you want ED, or U.S. Invoice if your dealer really likes you a lot. Good luck.

I designed the car online and sent the dealer an email copy so it was US pricing. I told him I wanted it a year ago and he let me know when the US pricing was available. It wasn't until I read the posts here that I was aware of the ED invoice price list and the difference between an inventory car and ED. He is telling me that he has a waiting list and that it will be next year for someone to order the M5 now.

Rpim5...I assume it's for all new orders that are coming out of allocation. If you had a production number until the 28th you should be ok

I guess I'm out of the leverage department now...I'm going to try downright guilt. We bought a 2004 6series convertable, a 2007 335i (my favorite car ever), a 2009 535 and now this M5 all new. You would think they would take good care of me......right......yeah I know "good luck sucker"

I have seen your posts. I think you were the first to report the change to dealer allocation on 6/30. Are you allowed to say where I can find dealer invoice for my M5?

Hang in there....You can easily get $5K-$7K discount off MSRP if you have patience. I am still getting so many calls now from dealers who are willing to make a deal. These same dealers in mid May and June first week were at MSRP. Last week I helped another memebr here getting $6700 of MSRP. I have a feeling except for initial European delivery madness , dealers are having a tough time to fill their allocations. I still know three dealers who are willing to give $4K-$6K. PM me if you are interested. Good luck !

Thanks guys. I now have the dealer invoice. I am guessing there is no way to find the ED invoice other than from the dealer? Does anyone out there have documentation for their $1000-$1500 over ED invoice deal. I would love to have that ammo when I meet with my salesman on Friday.

I guess PM is personal message. I think I have to post a couple more times before I can PM anyone.

I am prepared to walk away from my order if they treat me badly so I may be back in the market after Friday.
Any idea what kind of pricing I can expect from your sources? Just wondering what is out there before I walk away.

Here is my order:My M5 Sedan
4.4 liter, V8 with M TwinPower Turbo technology
Rear-wheel drive
Base MSRP $89,900
Monte Carlo Blue Metallic $0
Silverstone II Extended Merino Leather $0
Aluminum Trace Trim $0
Driver Assistance Package $1,900
Executive Package $5,500
20" M light alloy wheels Style 343M $1,300
BMW Apple iPhone Media / BMW APPS Version Snap In Adapters $269
BMW Carpeted Floor Mats $152
Destination & Handling: $895
Total MSRP as Built $99,916
Price does not include additional costs for accessory painting or installation, please discuss with your dealer.
This is off BMWUSA build site.

Here is my deal so far:"As a repeat customer I can add in the BMW Apps and Apple adapter that you requested, no charge. Your European delivered price then is $93250 plus $398 DOC fee. If we do the Titling and Registration the total is $96519.50"

The dealer, out of the goodness of his heartoffered to throw in the BMW Apple iPhone Media / BMW APPS Version Snap In Adapters for free! Woo Hoo

Go to bmwconfig.com and enter in 2013 M5. Change the drop down at the right to ED Munich. Page will update and you can add your specs and get the invoice price.

Unless you have something in writing or have a very good relationship with this dealership you may not get the price you were looking for originally.

I dont think you are going to find too many dealers who are going to go below MSRP for ED since the ED Cars now come out of dealer allocation. Journeyguy posted that he was able to get a M5, for US Delivery, at US Invoice price.

Hey Tony! I wish Jason and I had known about your plans in advance, first so I could've given you the info on ED pricing and second because it would have been so cool for the four of us to take delivery at the Welt a the same time and caravan through Europe. Can't wait for us to catch up and have both of them side by side!
