What are the specs for the front wheel? He has no rubbing at all in the front when the steering is at full lock in either direction? I've wanted to use the 285/35 but thought it would rub on the inner fender well when turning.

I'd be very interested to see some more pictures and any offsets (even though I have now sold my M5 !)

Ramon PMed me telling me he didn't have the offsets but that there was no rubbing whatsoever. It's not his car so I didn't press him to check the wheel well for rub marks, but if he should have a chance to do that I'd appreciate it.

If it's just a slight touch I wouldn't mind it, but with the heavy loads of cornering on a track I don't want the suspension fully loaded and the tire making extended contact turn after turn.

Thanks! Sorry but I can't seem to find the offsets for my fathers wheels in my notes but here are a few more pictures before we mounted the new Toyo R888R's

I am still a bit lost, are the above wheels the same spec as standard rear 20's?
Just wanna know if anyone has managed to fit R888 315's on standard 20's with H&R lowering springs. Help!!!

People do, but the rim is too narrow for a 315 if you want to corner hard. So drag strip and straight line only.

I wouldn’t you need 11” plus imo

They will fit, makes no sense unless for dry drag strip runs, rim width too narrow

I run r888r 315 lowered on H&R and stock 343m AND 5mm spacers without rubbing.
Bulge look is there, but straight line performance is awesome.

I ran the 315 R888's with lowered AC Schnitzer springs and had slight rubbing on turns

Question: I know I’ve seen this question asked before but here’s what I have:

I can get an awesome deal on a set of Pirelli Pzero’s. Not running stock wheels. 20x9 and 20x10.5 rear BBS.

Was wondering if I could go to this:

Front - 275/35/20 Pzero (99y)
Rear - 305/30/20 Pzero (99y)

Also I can’t do 275’s in the front, will the 265 and 305 impact the handling characteristics of the car? Everything is stock with no HP gains or lowering springs.

Didn’t mention this is for a 2015 M5 non CP. I’ve seen the M6 has 275 on the fronts with no issues.

I ran the pzeros in 265/305, lowered on H&R springs with no issues. Just make sure the 305 pzeros are 99Y load rating.

"Apexlocator". Did the handling characteristics change with the 265/305 set up? I feel like a 275/305 is more balanced.

You are probably right, but my car is tuned and I was really looking for better rear traction....did not find it with the 305 pzeros. And pushing this amount of hp around corners without traction....nope.
