Can't remember exactly but I think the black were $250 and the CF were $375. Both are very nice.

Wow... So to be clear you put 25-30k of mods in a car you owned for 7 months? IIRC it wasn't new off the lot for you. How does one even recoup that difference? Or is this a normal cost of life expense you can comfortably assume even given these losses? If so, congrats... But as much as I love my cars, TICO, rate of return, and my Morgan Stanley guy would crush me on doing this heavy of mod if I didn't get to experience and enjoy it for some appreciable amount of time.

On the whole subject of mods, since following this forum, i've been introduced to a whole circle of people who change out their wheels more often than my wife changes out of her purse. I don't care what you get on the resale there's no way that's a profitable venture. What's sad is most of these aftermarket wheels look like shit... If you're not going to select a stock option, going with the HREs like coldlist or jmh had/have, or those new BBSs that Chris just got I are about the only way to go... In my opinion any other wheel mod will only end up costing you money in the end... The proof is in how quickly other wheels are installed, bragged about, and then promptly put up for sale.

Appreciate this... I think id like to run this way too.

Apologies to everyone as I think out loud as a new owner. I see a lot of awesome cosmetic mods, a couple of interesting performance mods, and a lot of craptastic mods I swear people do just to keep up with the "Benjamins".

Feel free to quote me later and make me eat my words if I start modding the shit out of my car in the near future...

I loved to see cars modes, but I wouldn't want to drive it daily. Dodging pot holes at every corner is not fun, and I'm fairly conservative with cars. Actually sorry I did a clear bra, and tinted windows(: I try to purchase cars off the shelf, and they need no extras. However, I do love a nice set of cool wheels ........but the stock 20" look good IMHO. Some of the wheels out there don't look as good as the stock wheels.

Some nice cars out there, but hell the car is fast enough for me. M school actually showed me what the car can do, and in some cases it's too much power to keel in the ground which is a high class problem to have. Also don't want to go to a board meeting in a souped up car, nor a stuffy Benz(:

Ive spent £75 on black grills, and £30 on having the side vents painted. I feel every penny spent on mods, is a penny wasted, you will never recoup this. I would rather put the money into the pot for the next car.

Just ordered TPMS from the states for my winter wheels.
Great price. Was not going to bother but I think as the system uses the same Valves/sensors for the 5/6 and M series I can use the wheels on other cars, and is worth it for the safety.
