Yup, they're devaluing my 30 Jahre :-) Same specs but the paint, trim and interior are not quite there. Seems like an anniversary or some landmark event would be a better reason to make a "special -limited production" car rather than at the end of its life, for no real reason. Yes I know reasons are subjective, but still....
Oh yes, and this is more limited than the 30 Jahre.

Please explain to me why come out with this now? Is it to use up the left over parts? Why would one get this car and do what with it? Go around a track in this behemoth?

Wheels are ok, a lot of gap to see through them... Reminded me of these (with 7 versus 5 spokes).

To keep people interested/buying M5s and not waiting until the next gen. Pretty much same with all models that have been out for a while - do special pricing/packages/editions to keep moving units.

Yeah, that's unfortunate. But there's no denying that you're still driving a 30 Jahre, and that's worth something (probably a lot).

So weird that some guys hate these and some love them, very polarizing wheels. To me, they look out of place on this car. The finish, lack of concavity and the double spoke are a few reason these don't do it for me. Maybe i need to see them in person.

What a waste. It's all down to the tune. To spend that much for software... Madness
