M5 not remembering drive mode settings.

I was under the (incorrect?) assumption that my F10 M5 would remember the drive mode settings that I last had next time I turned the car on. I find that I prefer Sports-Plus throttle, Sport Suspension, Sport Steering. However, each time the car turs on it goes back to Efficient/Comfort/Comfort.

I know I can set "M1" to be what I want.

However, I am wondering what the "correct" behavior is supposed to be when the car is turned off then back on. What is the correct behavior??

Thanks.

I'm sure the next generation M5 will remember along with having it's F1 race inspired Quad Turbo 4.0 Liter 4 Cylinder engine.
