Very interesting review by R&T. As many have said, some of their decisions are very curious...Steering feel, exhaust note and gear box most specifically. Overall, it is a comparison many have waited for.

I was so close to getting the 2014 M5 with Comp pack until the E63S was announced with AWD. I have never driven the Comp pack, but I did get a long test drive in the M5. As many have said, no wrong choice in the bunch, just different strokes for different folks.

If anyone has any interest, I posted a few pics and my thoughts on the M5 vs E63s over on MBWorld after a few weeks of ownership. Somethings have changed, but I still love the car.

yeah, your car's ok I guess.......

I kid. it's beautiful. congrats. I have to say I prefer the original 10 spoke wheels though.. did you keep them as spares? apologies if you covered that in your write-up. I skipped to the pictures...

Thanks

The original wheels and tires are stacked in the garage waiting for spring to come and the potholes to get filled. Those black 5 spokes are my winter setup.
