Updates to my 2014 Space Grey CP M5 (Pic Heavy)

Just wanted to share some small updates I've been working on with the M5.

Since my M5 has the gold CCBs, I've decided that gold will be my color pop along with the space grey and black.

First thing I Plastidipped the chrome rear M5 emblem. Afterwards, I made custom /// stripes for the front and rear M5 emblems.





I took care of the front & rear blue/white roundels with some matte black vinyl. I also cut four smaller ///M logos for the exhaust tips, similar to the ///M logo on the m-performance system and added them to my matte black 4" quads.





To help tie in the gold a bit more, I added gold pinstriping to the front lip:





Lastly, I've been contemplating on what to do about the rear diffuser. It seems like all the options on the market are carbon fiber, and since I have absolutely zero carbon on this car (and don't plan on adding any to this car), a carbon diffuser would just be out of place. Thus I decided to stick with the OEM diffuser and give it an update. I wanted to do something different, so I played around with photoshop and liked the idea of doing the diffuser all black, and masking off an outline around the center portion of the diffuser, thus exposing it in space grey paint. I've never seen one like this and think it looks absolutely phenomenal in person. I used PlastiDip for the entire diffuser, and it came out perfect. To finish it off, I added a 1/4" pinstripe of gloss black vinyl to the edge where the plastidip meets the space grey stripe.

Years and years of practice haha. Been working with the stuff for about 9 years now.

Haha I knew somebody would point it out. It's not that the vinyl is crooked, it's that the dimensions I printed offline using ///M logo outlines aren't "exact" to the dimensions on the car. Thus, they don't have the same height/slant although they have the correct width.

Yeah, the 20x11 have the deepest face they offer, which is Face 3. Front has Face 2 at 20x10, which is still awesome concavity. Rears are most concave I've ever seen in person!

i'm also running 21x11 38mm offset and the concavity if awesome!
