Just in case: I'm talking about the headlights not the coronas.

Agreed.

Today I saw a random 14' LCI 550i without the M Sports Package and the LED headlights were on it and I thought it looked AWESOME! Almost as good as my M5. Lol!

LOVE the LEDs on my 14. I wouldn't want a car without them now. Very bright, very aggressive. Wouldn't change a thing.

Your existence on forum is subjective for me, unlike the LED's, just like my original comment in this thread!

AutoBild tested LED vs Xenon/HID/ on the 4 series and the xenons are better. Plus the power savings on the LEDs are marginal... How they look is a different story.

I don't know.. it's weird because when I was deciding between M5/M6 I was pissed that BMW didn't make an option available for the LED headlights on the M5.

Then I was happy when they came out on the LCI and I planned to retrofit. Until I saw a friends LCI M5 with LED's in person. I guess I just didn't like all the silver inside the LED housing, and I wished the honeycomb style was incorporated in the LED housing as well.

So I don't think they look horrible, but I was surprised that I like the standard non-led lights much better.

I agree it's subjective.. just light paintwork and leather color. Everyone likes what they like.

I think some peeps might have it confused between the Coronas and the headlights being actually HIDs. The new coronas "angel" eyes should all be the same moving forward. That really nice flat bottom and top white led light.

I saw the LED lighting up front and it is a lil weird. It's not supposed to be glaringly bright when you stare at it so it doesn't blind drivers from oncoming traffic.

You don't qualify to comment on my forum existence. You just came on board 6 months ago. Now on the other hand I've been here close to 5 years. But it's ok. Back on subject!

Agree. I love the LEDs. The guys who say otherwise remind me of the clueless ones who are clinging to iOS6.

I agree with you on the silver 'patchwork' on the LEDs, however, I do prefer them over the 'egg yolk' LCI xenons (which I have). Although the honeycomb of the pre-LCI xenons were better, I now prefer the lit eyebrows of the LCI xenons/LEDs to the frosted eyebrows.

I've now come to the conclusion that I'm going to leave my car unmodified & live with the eye yolks (even given up on changing to OEM silver bulbs). If I were ordering new I would spec the LEDs.
