Why are most M5 interiors black?

I’m currently looking around for used M5 to gauge the market. Planning to get one next year though. I really want the full leather interior with sakhir orange or Silverstone as they look so good!!

Problem is most of the M5 have black interior which really limits the options for me. Any reason why this is the case? Really hope it’s not the age old Black is easier to clean stuff.

It's not just M5, you can make a case for most car's interior are black. Black is a safe color and stains are less obvious.

Man I wanted the same thing but at the time of getting my M5 I could not find a better opportunity on my with black interior for a little while I was not happy but when now I'm the only one with black interior it's all cool, I know 15 M5 guys and they are all red lol

I had same problem. Bsm on full sakhir is hard to find.

So I bought full sakhir orange interior and had shipped to my shop. Soon it should be all installed l.

Caramel with walnut honey! I posted my 2015 M5 individual (Moonstone ext with caramel black full / walnut honey trim) for lease takeover / purchase in classifieds section.

In certain markets, most dealer stock only has Black interior. Any other color would usually take longer to produce and deliver (such as BMW Individual colors and whatnot)

Yessir, lease ended and I returned the F10 right before Thanksgiving.

I didn't go too far away as I picked up a '17 X5 ///M (via PCD) in October. Didn't get black interior this time either.

But the quality of leather finish not good, my car has 16k miles and driver seat looks like 40k mile car. I clean and maintain all the time

maybe I am just super OCD but 34k miles and it still looks brand new
