I see you are a fellow Miami guy. Do you have the exhaust? If so I'd love to hear it.

I think the 102 fills the gaps nicely in the rear.

The stock ones are just too narrow--- 90mm Im not sure about but its all about personal preference.

Well I'm going with the Race rear section only and 90mm.
Agree stock too small but worried in real life whether the 102s would look too much like coffee cans on a rice rocket. I know we have the goods to back it up but.......
Pics do look good though. So going conservative look with more aggressive sound, although without center section, should be manageable for taste per IND :-)

I'm thinking I am going to get the oval. I find the round straight cut tips seem to stick out too much. It needs an angled cut on this car. Only the oval has that.

This just looks perfect fit.

One way I could get the eisenmann round to work for me if it would stick out less. The issue I have with it is that because the tips aren't angle cut, and they are mounted to stick out from the diffuser. They don't fit with the lines of the car.

The OEM exhaust is also straight cut but it is slightly recessed.

Can the eisenmann be mounted more like OEM? Or can you get it with angle cut?

I run all my cars with modded exhausts so the M5 with the Race, to me, is rather tame. I like it though under WOT and on coast downs where the exhaust rumbles rather mean-like. I know Im biased the but 102's really do make the M5 what it should be... an M5 with bad ass quads staring down cars behind it. The oval pipes are cool too but require a new diffuser to fit and they do bring in that AMG type of look.

Exhaust installed this eve. Happy with the look of the 90mm and the sound of the race.
I think this is how it should look from the factory and sounds better.

Mine have the same proportions as OEM, I think...........they definitley don't stick out more.

I ordered the 90mm Eisenmann Sport, but I am out of town so Vivid isn't shipping till Jan. I could switch to Race if it made sense, but I have no idea of what the sound levels are or whether there is drone!

I wish you would went with the race , I have like 8 of them here. Now that I am sold out of the 90mm sports, everyone wants one.

Depending on what Barry finds I may switch my order type. But I have a feeling I selected the right one.

BTW I highly recommend Scott at Vivid - great deal on the Eisenmann and really nice to work with - knows the product really well.

I LOVE the race now. It is a little loud outside only for the 15-30 sec of warm up but not unpleasant or obnoxious. There is no drone upon acceleration at any RPM. There is a very short and slight drone upond deacceleration at about 1700 RPM only. The sound inside is just perfect.
I'm sold

concur. I love the cold start of my race...I valet'd my car the other day and heard it under low rpms as the attendant cruised it to the parking spot; what a solid sound.

Cans only for me. Probably too loud with both but don't know.
IND gave me good advice.
