Thoughts on 5-Star Shine Paint Protection

Just wanted to find out if anyone has tried this particular product for paint protection? Also, your opinions and thoughts would be highly appreciated. Here's the URL for the product: http://www.5starshine.com/.

Never heard of it. Everybody is releasing a coating these days. The most reputable and established players are:

Optimum (Opticoat or Optiguard)
Car Pro (Cquartz and Cquartz Finest)
22PLE
Wolf's Hard Body

I'm also seeing more and more reviews of Modesta Glass Coating.

Optiguard and CQuartz Finest come with durability guarantees.

Cquartz Finest, Gtechniq Exo V2 are my favorites. They have the slickest surfaces amongst the coating industry with water beading angles of 110 degrees. Modesta glass coatings is more of a boutique product and has a longer lifetime than the other coatings. I saw some pictures of a cure block of Modesta coating and it looked like a block of glass.

Thumbs up 5 star shine works!

I have used it on my 650i. Leaves a deep shine that makes the paint feel and look like glass.
In order to keep it working don't use soap (the soap film will just stick to the paint even after rinsing), just running water and a sponge; the key is to keep the dirt from scratching the clear coat. Also, for those bugs, let the water soak the bug spot, then wipe away! You will also need to buy the PPS cleaner which you can apply at anytime you feel the slickness of the paint decrease due to oxidation and impurities getting into imperfections in the paint.
It is well worth the $70 it costs!
Does it last 5 years? If you take really good care of your car it will get pretty close.
