Thx cyba, I can't wait for mine to arrive in the uk. I hope the existing tips come off ok and new ones are easy to fit. My dealer is refusing to fit them for me...

Two of mine came off easily the other two were more difficult, in the end I put a bit of wood behind the back of the tips and gave them a gentle tap with a rubber mallet, soon solved the problem with no marks......

It did take several attempts to get the new tips aligned with the correct projection .

I believe some stock tips are harder to remove not sure why. Mine came off easily by just twisting and pulling.

Thanks for the tip. How many miles had yours covered before trying to remove existing tips? I'm trying to do mine during pdi, so only a couple of miles in the clock... Hopefully they should slip off easy? Are the comp pack tips secured the same way as non cp tips?

Yours should come off very easily, mine had been used for about six months on the road and stored for the same time while I was running an Eisenmann Race system.

They should just twist/pull off...

Did you have to pay duty or vat on receipt of the tips? My tracking says the parcel is still in customs and a friend reckons you have to pay duty on imports. Is that right?

The lower value indicated??? The invoice value will be $399. And whatever PayPal converted to £ that day. Will I have to call customs to release it and pay 20% vat before they do or do I pay parcel force when they deliver? I've never bought for overseas before when customs have got involved... Sorry if these questions are daft...

I need (2) 4-inch tips to replace the stock tips on a F10 535. But the problem is that there is only room for a tip with the maximum length of 5 inches. is there any tips that are short enough to fit this?

I ship to UK on a weekly basis and only put around $50 US dollars on the shipping label....till this day no issues. As far as I know you pay the duty tax upon delivery if you do get taxed

I followed the tracking number and when it reach the UK, contacted the relevant depot to pay and collect. The depot will send you out a Post card detailing the amount to be paid etc, but contacting directly saves a couple of days...

You only pay Tax on $50.

Thanks for clearing that up. Makes sense now. Paid £17.50 over the phone today, assume handling charge and duty, and delivery on route Tuesday ...:-)

When u installed them as you were slipping the tips in, was there a stopping point or u had to judge them where to stop

Please correct me if wrong Derek.

It's up to you really, how far out/in you want them. I pushed them in more like the stock tips. When you remove the stock tips, you'll notice the exhaust tube flares at the end. CYBA tips fit snugly over the flared portion. I set them in more so I fastened the screws to the thinner portion of the exhaust tube. It's very secure. I noticed some people pushed theirs out further, but I liked OEM depth.

Drewm5 has the cf tips and has some pointers for me, you can ask him to see if it's any different since they're angled, not sure if they're shorter or not.
