The 601s are specified as forged in the UK July 2013 price list?
In the German price list the 601 are not listed as forged, the 343 are listed as forged though.

They get out of balance. You notice vibration in the steering wheel on a smooth road. On average they would be noticeably out of balance by 3 months of use. And I drive 9000 miles a year.

On the M5 with 343M 20" wheels I haven't had to balance my wheels since delivery and I have 9000 miles on the clock already (my car is 1 year old on Saturday).

Interesting, so you attribute the out of balance condition in a three month period to a cast wheel? What does the cast wheel do to cause that?

Here's a '14 GranCoupe CP with 601's... They are much better looking in person... Very aggressive compared to 343's... Pics don't do them justice!!

They're heavier by about 5.5lbs per wheel.

That's what I thought. I actually like the way they look but between being cast and being 5.5 lbs heavier a wheel, no thanks. That's a huge difference, and will definitely have a negative effect on...pretty much everything.
