Just booked a room at the Marriott. Euro 109 (taxes included) seemed like a pretty good deal and pretty close to The Welt.

Yep good, but out by the airport, not exactly convenient for Munich. Missed flight and airline put me up there. ( was travelling up front, others got shuttled to cheaper properties)

Do they have valet or a parking lot? Someone said on an earlier post that they have street parking? Not sure i want to park a brand new M5 on the street. Is this the hotel, http://www.marriott.com/hotels/trave...arriott-hotel/

They have a nice parking structure - you can park your car or have the valet staff park it for you; same price. They will be very careful with your car!!

Nope, just 1 night (9/1) for me. But I'm psyched to hear you're staying there for the week - it guarantees I'll get a chance to see you're Sahkir Orange M5!

I went back to their website. Looks like they bumped the rates - maybe because a bunch of us booked rooms? I'm now seeing Euro 149 for one night (9/1 to 9/2).

My stay was prorated. 109 for sat and Sunday, mon_-wed 150, Thursday 190. Or something like that. And that was 10000 euro.... little difference lol.

8/31-9/5 although what makes sense is I drop the car off by the airport at 4pm the day before i leave and stay at an airport hotel (Marriott or ....) as the drop location is by the airport and at least I have an early am flt back to the us on the 5th.

Mariott is total crap imo
enough for a quick layover but really nothing special, just standard

especially when it is for the day(s) when you pick up your car overseas!
That does not happen all that often guys

So I`d rather stay at something better like Sofitel,Le Meridien,Kempinksi(out at the airport though) etc

Dunno about you guys but I'm using the Hotel as a home base and not a resort. They have good beds and good parking options. It's no Ritz but good enough (for me ) for the price.
