Bmw M5 code 1f2112

Hello,

I have a bmw M5 f10 2014 in which i made a small accident from the front side and i only changed the bumper and the headlights.

After finishing the car, i was surprised that the car's output is limited, it's not increasing and I am not getting full power.

The fault code i am getting is 1f2112.
I tried to reinstall the DME and to recode it, but it's not working and the workshop is telling me that it's a hardware problem.

Per BMW fault codes

Diagnosis monitors whether increased output has been programmed.
Malfunction monitoring conditions
The fault is detected when increased output has been programmed with or without an invalid enable code.



Service Plan
- Re-installation of both DMEs
- Repeated programming with valid enable code
- Checking of CAN connection between DME and CAS
- Continue troubleshooting at CAS

Fault Impact
- Output limit
