Painted Side Marker

Car is Space Gray, Sahkir Orange Interior, Aluminum Trace trim and Black 343's.

I will be doing the Black grilles with M-color stripes, painted reflectors and 12/12 MS spacers... all from IND.

Also, adding the Dry Carbon tips from Cyba.

Finally... 15% tint (on the darker side for those who don't know)

So... the question I am trying to decide on is the color combo for the side markers/gills. I'd like to add a flash of personality to the side gills as the Space Gray is somewhat low-key.

I'm leaning towards: Gloss Black= Outer / Space Gray= Inner / MCB Mesh / Dark tinted Marker Light.

Just had a thought on another color combo...

Gloss Black= Outer / FROZEN GRAY= Inner / MCB Mesh / Dark tint Marker Light.

How would the slight contrast of the Matte Gray go with the Space Gray?

Frozen Grey is Space Gray with a special clear coat for the matte/low gloss appearance.

Right... I'm thinking it could look cool. Like the gloss black outer is a frame into the innards of the car. The frozen gray inner is one level down below the glossy space gray color or the 'skin' of the car. And then then the blue mesh is the bottom layer of the dermis. Lol. Yeah... I know... Pretty detailed thoughts about a side marker! Lol

Personally I went with the body color for everything except, gunmetal on the mesh and painted the front grill ovals body color and left the vertical bars black. The mono color especially on the front is a good look. I am loving it. Good luck with your selections.

Thanks bud! I was thinking body color for front grilles, but then it makes the grilles look smaller to me. And I like the look of the all black kidneys.

Well, right now there is a clear leader... Seems most are voting for:

Gloss black- Outer. Matte black- Inner. Space Gray- Mesh.

I'm still leaning towards: Gloss black- Outer. Frozen Gray- Inner. Monte Carlo Blue- Mesh. And then dark tint on the LED side marker lights.

So the cool thing here.... No matter what color combo I decide on, Nate is only going to charge me $55 to repaint and ship back. So I'm look at $65-75 to change the color after the fact. Not bad.
