Anyone know what level can our turbo max out to?

As what the title say, anyone knows what is the max boost our turbo can run up to?

So once is after the max range, if we want to make more power the only way is to upgrade the turbo??? Or any other ways to up power?

With the wideband afr sensor running WOT at 10.7(afr) while on 5th gear, I suppose there r still room for a larger turbo since the fuel supply is still way too rich?

Any input will be helpful, thanks.

The max rating for our turbos is 21.8 psi . Going beyond that mainly increases heat and does very little to increase airflow . In cool < 70 degrees F weather even at +5 psi you will be below the max , in warm weather you will def be over and mainly creating heat . This is why running more boost beyond a certain point with stock turbos has severely limited returns .

Turbo output is not measured in psi because psi is dependent upon the restriction which the turbo is pumping against.

Turbo output is measured in airflow, commonly in pounds of air/min

As important as the maximal airflow is the adiabatic efficiency.

I suspect maximum stock boost is at the edge of the "reasonable" adiabatic efficiency island.

I've looked for and have been unable to locate the compressor maps for the 63tu turbos. If you can locate them please post them.

Here in Singapore, the lowest we can get is about 80 degree F in the middle of the night & above 100 in the day thru out the whole year. That's the reason why in the day there is always a bit of pull back at the high rpm on higher psi eg above 5psi but when is cooler at night it goes away.
