I think the OEM ambient just not bright enough so I bought these, now I have one more color, lol. These pics are from the shop, will post mine later. I really like it especially the blue, tell me what you think.

PS: if anyone really interested to purchase this kit, I am willing to contact the manufacture to ship to the states. PM me fro price and details.
The price is around $300 as shipping directly from factory, for the single color is $200 but cant be exact because of the shipping rate can be changed due how big is the shipment.
I think it is worth it.

I like the blue better too. I agree that OEM is too dim.

Nice. First mod I did was swap out the dingy yellow OEM interior lights with a full LED kit from ECS.
In my opinion these cars should come with LEDs!

What part takes a lot of time?

You just swapping the old strip of lights for LEDs ?

Do they have a separate controller?

Do you have a manufacturer, part number or a link to the place that sells this?

This is, to me, one of the most interesting and desirable mod

The part that takes the most of time is you will have to remove every door panel in order to remove the OEM light and plug in the wires. This kit is using the power from the window switch, only the driver side is different which is using the power from the rear trunk switch. It is a plug and play kit just not easy to get to the plugs. Sorry about my crappy English, if you still do not understand let me know.

I bought it from China, did not find anywhere in the states, not even ebay. I am willing ask them to ship to the states if you really want this kit.

It's orange/red for a reason because it's not distracting to the eyes at night, hence why the military uses it.

How do these look during the daytime? I made a post about how I liked the ambient lighting of an F85 on the E70 boards, found some generic eBay LED rope lighting but I'm more curious how I'd wire it in (splicing into factory lighting would be preferred) and have those wires hidden all while the LED rope doesn't look added on.

Those lights looks cool as well. Mine is on or off according to the headlight, so its off during the day time, and I can still use the "wheel" to adjust the brightness. Installing is pretty easy, not cutting wires needed, just plug into the factory lights.
