Engine Oil

Hey guys,
Sorry didn't have time to search the forum. However, I am leaving on a road trip in few hours and the m5 just gave me notification that oil level is at a minimum and that i should add 1 quart asap. Where can i buy such engine oil and can i manually fill it myself in the engine bay? And what exact brand and type should i obtain? Or Can i wing it and perhaps fill it up in a week?
Thank you fellas...just needed some quick guidance as it's last minute this popped up.

Don't wing it and do exactly what it says. Get a quart of fully synthetic 5w30 and fill er up

Any auto store should have 5w30? Any particular brand?

Also...can i mix the oils? As im not certain which was used originally

I use Penzoil full synthetic euro spec 5w-30, can usually get it at Walmart.
