Bmw M6 Dyno 738Whp (Tune Only) Backend+Jb4

2013 Bmw M6

Mods:
K&N air filter
Enzo Performance custom backend flash
Burger tuning Jb4+ BCM

All runs where done in 5th gear.
11 gallons of 93 octane
2.5 gallons of E85

First off thanks to Enzo and BMS for all the back and forth logging and support.

@enzoracing

Enzo has been nothing but amazing through this. The service and response time has been exceptional!

All Dyno runs where on a dynojet with STD-5. You can see it in the videos. This is to cancel out those batch of questions. This as far as I know is a world record.

Temperature: 96 Degrees with 65% Humidity

93 Octane only Pull breakdowns:

93 Octane: 22psi: 641-650
93 Octane: 23psi: 650ish
93 Octane:24 psi: 650ish

Car is pretty much limited to power without additional Fueling(consistent in all runs on 93) . The numbers would easily have been higher but temps outside where 96 Degrees with 65% humidity.

I let the car cool off for about 30 Minutes. I poured into my Half a tank of 93 octane 2.5 Gallons of E85. I let the car idle for 5 minutes, reved it a few times and shut it off to cool some more with fans blowing every which way for another 20 minutes. This is the First time I tried E85 and wanted to see if their was an actual power gain as almost everyone claims Ms109 is better.

E85 Pull breakdown (11 gallons 93 with 2.5 gallons of E85):

- 25 psi(1st pull) - 692whp
- cool off 15 minutes
- 25 psi (2nd pull) - 715whp
- 26 psi (1st pull) - 732whp
- cool off 15 minutes
- 26psi (2nd pull) - 738whp

Car was adjusting to the E85 after every pull. It was getting stronger and stronger. I had stock clutch slip once during the 25psi pull. Other then that pretty consistent.

I am sure if I cranked boost higher and let car adapt 750whp would have been capable.

In short 25psi is more then enough with a pinch of E85 on a stock car. Can't go wrong!

Car was a bit lean (air fuel) as it started to adapt it started to smooth out. The E85 was foreign to my car lol never tried it before. In short it works! 60-80whp with race gas is epic.

I will be testing out his new found power at the track in a week or so and shooting for 10s.

Good numbers - will certainly hit 10's if she hooks.

Did you log HPFP with the E85?

I have a 13 with ecu flash but with 93. If I put some E85 will I see any additional gain, or will I have to flash it for the added E85?

Thumbs up

Wow!! You are the undisputed King of stock tunes

That E85 really woke up the car and helped to get past the 650 hurdle. So is your car tuned for E85 mixture now, and do you plan to run E85 regularly?

Did you experience any clutch slippage on the dyno? and at what torque readings? Congrats on the power and thanks for sharing

Congrats on the amazing numbers. Enzo told me about your car as i was talking to him a few days ago. He tuned my M5 and will be tuning my M6 Gran Coupe which i pick up tomorrow. Doing a similar setup to your apart from a few diff mods like the MSR intakes and im still debating downpipes as i couldnt stand the smell from my M5! Im already planning on doing the SSP upgrade since i heard the stock clutches dont last past 700whp.

Nice!!!!

Ordering my SSP clutches this week lol.

I feel my stock clutches slip after I shift hard at full throttle. They slip fora split sec and then catch. That's valuable time!!

As for downpipes.. Why?!! Ahhahah look at power without them! Sound is pretty sweet though.

The intakes is all preference. I kept it as stock as possible to avoid dealer issues. I did K&N filters with charcoal filter delete. Perfect for me! Lol

I have a spare set of stock 20"s at home fitted to a pair of new R888 (315s) hoping to hit track in a week or so.

Bro Backend with jb4 = 700+whp
Pretty damn sweet if you ask me!

Nice numbers! Do you by any chance have a vbox to show some real world data ?
100-200 km/h or even 60-130 mph would be nice

If you are interested let me know when you are going to the strip, I have been looking for a private rental or just some company on a test and tune night.

So you made over 700whp without the bms stuff?

I was told 650-670 is limit on just back end flash.

Lol jb4+ backend. The backend controls everything while the jb4 moderates boost. It's the best of both worlds.

And best part all else is stock ahahahahah
