Hey everyone so.. I made the plunge! Jumped ship to Audi and got me a 2016 RS7.. was randomly shopping for cars and patiently waiting for M5.. BUT after really digesting that the New M5 will essentially be an X5M just 1,000lbs lighter (same delicate motor) I said to myself fuck it! And picked up RS7

Impressions- The car is put together way better then M5 or my M6 and X5M

Pros- Awd, amazing massage seats (I have comfort seats), Engine (pure gold), Tune Reliability and power, sound, bey practical and daily drive ability.

Cons: Only 1... transmission is a slushbox. Very strong but.. light years from DCT. It's Good.. if DCT is a 10/10 I would give this auto trans a 7.5/10..

Here she is in all her stock Glory.

The time slip and Vbox is STOCK
0-60: 3.3
1/4- 11.2 at 122mph

Car is going into Eurotech for full mods all in one shot.
Apr Stage 1/2+ with Apr downpipes
Intakes- rock euro
Full sway bars front and rear
Lowered wig Air suspension (stock)
And a few cosmetic mods.

OP I always thought you'd be the next to break 9s 1/4 mile in M5/M6. I guess it may be easier with a modded RS7, plus makes more since to have AWD in the NE right about now. Check in once in awhile to let us know what the RS7 runs

You made the right move then....sucks to store a fun car for the winter.

That was OEM axles you broke right? I recall you had upgraded to DSS at some point.

I had a 14 RS7 and now a 17 Performance... tuned and I agree with everything you stated about build, comfort seats, engine, exhaust, daily driver, but the tranny. I wont say its as good as a DCT because its not but its not light years away and the ZF8 can handle all that torque you are about to add to it with the mods. Further the ZF is getting rave reviews on the new F90 M5 too. Its in the software to be sure to consider a TCU tune to marry up with your ECU tune.

As for the looks of the car, I have zero issues with it, infact its not the regular sedan cars you see on the road and instead has that sleek look. Yeah its "kobe bryant" love it or hate looks but the car is awesome for me too.

Congrats.

Thanks Brother!
I spoke to APR and TCU tune for Rs7 coming out early next year. That will hanger the car drastically.

It's a great daily road warrior which is main reason I picked her up. Get up and drive and get rollercoaster sick.

The power is just immediately on demand. Today I was ripping it and I have zero worries about lane merging and pulling waaaaaaaay far ahead.

Good looking car. One thing for sure no power will be wasted: 4 wheel drive. Quattro was the only line that kept me in love with Audi.
If I didn’t have two car payments, I would want TT RS in my stable. 5 bangers turbo massaged will be a serious brawler.
Congrats on your new ride.

Nice RS7. Havent driven one of those but starting to get a feel I would be in an Audi in the near future. Dont like the interior of the new BMW.

My F10 535x still has some semblance to old BMW interior look and better steering feel than the F90 I drove as a loaner. They(F90) look like a mercedes now IMO, and I own an S-Class.

Sat in one today. Not too bad at all. Interior is done well. The rear isn’t as bad in person. Pictures don’t really show the ass end in a good light. Maybe paint color helps??. Overall it’s sweet and has plenty of dig.

GL with the new ride bro.

Congrats. I drove a buddies for a week. I was very impressed with the car.

The only drawback was the tech. I was not impressed with the screen and interface.

Congrats ARC550!

The RS7 is a monster and I personally love the looks. After reading Vic's review of his RS7 performance I just had to have one.

I sold my BPM Stage 2 F10 M5 and picked up my RS7 Performance about a month ago. The traction from a dig is silly!!! I can only imagine what yours will be running with APR stage 2.
