Dealer Error Question

I'm having some issues with my dealer. We had agreed on a monthly payment for my M5 (lease). So when the day was here to pick up my car up I asked if I could apply Security deposits toward the lease. I was told I couldn't for some reason because we had already agreed on a payment. Which didn't make sense since it was to lower the Money Factor. I was told that it would cost more money doing this cause BMW has a regional and national MF rate. Which also didn't make sense. Long story short we finally agreed and I was allowed to put the security deposits down. I was told that I had to put around $1600.00 more down which I did so I signed everything and I was done. Two days later I get a call from the dealer telling me I still owe them $639.00. I told them that I would review the paperwork and get back them. Now today I get a call and they tell me I owe them $1600.00 not $600.00 WTF. Im not sure what to do since I see this as a dealer error?

Has anyone ever had this happen ?

Please tell me your CA was new to the company or business? A seasoned CA shouldn't make simple errors like this.
I learned my lesson one time with a young CA. Ended up costing me $8k more than I expected.
I was NOT a happy camper and it ruined the experience of getting a new car (X5).

Share all your numbers and many here can help.

My dealer was supposed to include everything for tag, registration etc, it took them forever to get it and I ended up getting an email saying I owed them $2900 more for taxes to get my tag (they missed it because they were not familiar with the state) After a few phone calls to the tax assessor and reviewing my paperwork it was actually $700 I owed them which is a far cry from the $2900 they wanted because they've had tried to register it incorrectly as a business lease. I was not happy and let them know it. If I would not have done the leg work and just sent them a check for the initial amount requested I would have been screwed. Yes dealers make mistakes so be sure to review everything closely.

Garage List
Use the paper trail against them.

Perhaps post paper trail logic here for feedback.

Sometimes things get screwed up between the sales person and the finance person. Sounds odd.. going to need more info to figure this one out. Maybe one of them is inexperienced and just doesn't know what they are talking about.

So the first deal was
MSRP 111,625
Selling price $104885.67
Money from trade $7414.00
Dealer Fee's total $1364.25 (doc fee, tile fee, license fee, acquisition fee)
MF .00137
Residual 61%
36 months Lease

Money out of pocket $1100.00
Plus money from trade $7414.00

total Monthly $1175.00

So this were I asked the dealer if I could put down Security Deposits to lower the MF. They said no and we argued for about 30 mins then finally they came back and told me this

Final Deal
MSRP $111,625.00
Selling price $104885.67
Dealer Fee's total $1364.25 (doc fee, tile fee, license fee, acquisition fee)
MF .00098
Residual 61%
36 months Lease
Security Deposit $9100.00

Plus Money from trade 7414.00 + 1100.00 from deposit Which dealer already had

This time Money out of pocket was $1639.25 at time of signing paper work. They told me I would put down $9100.00 as SD and I had to give them an additional $1639.25 and this would make my payment $1275.00 a month instead of $1175.00 so When I did the numbers seem like the savings was around $3600.00 since I would get back $9100.00 at the end of the deal. So about 3 days later I get a call from them request an additional $639.25. Then 2 days later I get another call saying that was an error and that it was supposed t be an additional $1639.25. So the part thats annoying is none of this was told to me but the finance manager at time of signing paper I was told that they require only $1639.25 not $3278.50. The part in Red was told to me also by the Finance and Sale manager of the dealership. My CA wasn't involved in it much. I attached what I figured from http://www.th**********calculator.com from the numbers. The error is on the dealer side and I feel like they messed up all the numbers so its seems to be unfair to me.

Tell them no problem, and ask where you should drop off the car and you would like to cancel out the deal..... I'm pretty sure they will move.

Thats how I feel too. Seems like I paid 2k over invoice. The car was ordered from BMW

At this point I think its to late about cancelling I logged into to My BMW and it looks like they already submitted the paper work and registered the car too. I'm try to get my plates I hope they don't hold them back on me.
