Employee discount?

Just found out that through work, I get a 7-8% "supplier discount" on top of negotiated price. Applies to BMW, MB, and Audi (Porsche not on list). No word on whether it applies on top of ED. Anyone have something similar? Used it?

I tried applying a similar discount on my ED, I was told it does not qualify. There is fine print on the voucher form.

Interesting. I have a feeling it's too good to be true. But if I can use it to get ED pricing for a US delivery, might do that. Time to do some digging. Will post his group on what I find out so others can benefit

I'm pretty sure that you can use the Employee discount and combine it with the ED MSRP discount. It's either / or. I had a friend of mine who worked for a BMW dealership lease a brand new E90 M3 back in the day and he got his 7% employee discount. What he did though was take Performance Center Delivery, which is free and combined that with his employee discount.

You can't combine it with ED. I tried before. PCD is fine.

Not sure if it's actually an employee discount or a strategic partner discount. I have the latter and it only gives $1500 below negotiated price on M Cars. Discounts on non-M cars are bigger.

Interesting. This is a supplier discount (even though my firm is an investment bank). I am hesistent to call my SA and ask since I still have a couple of months left before I place order.

Does the discount you have applies on leases as well?

Also for performance center delivery, doesn't that cost extra money? Any idea how much that is and is it worth it? I dont too much about it so any information would be great.

Thanks

I got similar $1500 credit and buy down of lease rate .00020. Standard fleet discount is 4%, but you can apply whatever the best negotiated price + all the fleet incentives below.

Below are the restrictions (note that these additional incentives don't apply to ED).

Performance Center delivery doesn't cost anything extra, you just have to pick up your car in South Carolina.

Thanks. Very helpful. But oh shoot. I will call BMWNA today to ask about my firm's discount. Will keep the group posted.

Thanks everyone. This community rocks! It has been so much planning and researching the car because of you guys.
