I hear those are good choices for new cars. GTI is the best. but if you want you can buy a used 328i or 335 around 20k 2 to 3 years old

honda civis si, fun to drive, reliable and will keep its value. Can buy new for 21k,
or lightly used GTI 1-2 years old, turn to drive and have German feel.

This is not what I have seen. Looking for a 328ix 2-3 years old with 20-25K miles and everything I have seen has been in the high 20s or even low 30s.

yeah those prices usually in the 30k milage range. low 20s are higher priced your right.
