Dream Fulfilled, My 2014 M5 With Competition Package Has Arrived

Hi Guys:

I have owned an E39 M5 for over 9 years and my journey to acquiring the F10 M5 began over 2 years ago when I attended the BMW international launch of the new generation M5 at Sevilla Spain. After driving the car on the Ascrai race track and seeing how great it performed I knew I would be purchasing one.

These feelings were cemented last summer when I participated in the BMW M event at the Austin Texas F1 circuit driving the M6 Grand Coupe and the M5, with the M5 being my clear favorite. I took delivery a few days ago and the car is nothing short of breathtaking. It's not that this car is just faster then the previous generations of M5's, the handling has been taken to a complete different level.

Looks absolutely amazing!!! I do have a question however. How do you get invited to things like the M5 launch in Spain and the M6 grand coupe launch in Texas? I know several board members have had the opportunity to attend these events. Is there something like this coming up for the new M3?

Awesome, congrats! The E39 M5 is probably my fav prev gen M5 of all time. I can't put it into words, but each time I stare at it, my groin stirs...

There are some mint SC'd E39 M5s out there putting down near 575hp. No joke. Barry B has one of em.
